Wait For It
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
You play as Patience, elite hacker for The Resistance in the 24th century. And the enemy? None other than the Holy C, the cyberchurch overlords of the planet. Can you use your hacker powers to defeat the Church and its minions and to overthrow the Pope in his space fortress?
Wait For It is a roguelike where the wait key holds the most power, as the only way to charge up your abilities is to stand in place. You must fight carefully timed turn-based battles against an array of unique cyberpunk monsters and bosses.
The game is heavily centred on turn-based, tactical play where every action (or inaction) holds weight. Acting and moving decreases your energy bar, whilst waiting in place recharges it. Will you move into the optimal tactical position, or wait instead to optimise your choice of abilities? Timing is also crucial in killing enemies as experience is only gained by killing multiple enemies simultaneously.
Battle through 8 levels, 4 challenging bosses and multiple unique enemies, with custom graphics and a freshly composed soundtrack. Learn how to freeze time, hack enemies, shoot exploding bullets and nuke whole areas, all building up to the climactic battle against the evil Space Pope.

Good looking game with great music. Tactical gameplay where every move (or even not making a move) counts.
